Maritime Foundation is approved by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India and strictly follows the guidelines as laid down by the regulating bodies. The courses are in compliance with the provisions of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Convention as adopted by International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Quality compliance is given paramount importance. The Quality Management System at Maritime Foundation is periodically audited by DNV and certified to be in conformance with ISO 9001-2008.

Maritime Foundation is committed to improving standards of maritime training and recognises the role of an independent Credit Grading Agency for standardisation of infrastructure and practices within maritime education industry. The institute is graded “VERY GOOD” by ICRA.
