ABOUT:
IMC is the countries fastest growing training institution within the maritime industry. Recognizing simulator based training as the driving force of the future training requirements, IMC offers a wide-range of STCW 95 compliant simulator courses.
Established in 92 as an institute to help applicants prepare for the Ministry of Communications Certificate of Proficiency courses, IMC has evolved alongside the rapidly changing regulatory environment. As we grew to understand how dramatically training requirements were changing. We expanded our Training facilities to include various simulator courses.
IMC was one of the 1st institutions in India to Start GMDSS GOC training. This was followed by being the 1st to bring in ROC and ARPA courses to the South. In line with our policy of continuous improvement and our motto of “Training Thru Simulation” IMC set up the State of the Art Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator, once again the first in India. The simulator is capable of handling various liquid cargoes such as Oil, Petroleum Product, LPG, LNG & Chemical and is set up with technical assistance & Training from Warsash Maritime center, Southampton - UK. Southern India’s 1st RANSCO (Radar, ARPA, Bridge Team- Work & SAR) simulator course is the latest addition to IMC’s range of simulator courses.
